The TxDMV offers training seminar to help moving companies understand the rules and regulations that govern their businesses. Seminars are held once a quarter throughout the State of Texas. Each four-hour session includes information that enables moving companies to stay in compliance and avoid common unintentional violations. Topics include: Registration, Advertising, Required Vehicle Markings for Movers, Proposals/Contract and Claims Handling.
TxDMV training seminars are provided at no cost to the moving companies or their employees. We invite everyone who is interested in operating as a moving company or those that feel they may need a refresher to attend.

The Texas Department of Motor Vehicles (TxDMV) will be offering Household Goods Mover Training Seminars through the 2022 calendar year in response to continued concerns caused by the COVID-19 (Coronavirus). Dates below are subject to change.

Cancellation and Substitutions
Registrants cancelling at least 72 hours before the event can call the TxDMV at (888) DMV-GOTX or (888) 368-4689.
If you have registered, but are unable to attend, you may send another person in your place. The substitute should inform TxDMV staff at the time of seminar attendance.
